What Does Chlorine Balls Adsorb?

designed to remove chlorine, odors, and organic impurities from water.

Durable & Eco-Friendly. The ceramic balls for chlorine removal are made with CaSO₃ and natural minerals. These balls are designed to purify and revitalize water by efficiently removing residual chlorine, free chlorine, hypochlorous acid, and hypochlorite ions.

They also inhibit bacterial growth, enhance dissolved oxygen content, adsorb harmful heavy metals, and improve water quality by adjusting its pH. The balls are durable, food-grade, and provide long-lasting performance, making them suitable for various water purification applications.

Durable & Eco-Friendly: Long-lasting ceramic material, resistant to breakdown, making them a cost-effective choice for large-scale or sustained water purification needs.

High-Efficiency Removal

Specialized filtration media designed to effectively eliminate chlorine, odors, and organic impurities from water.

These high-efficiency ceramic balls feature a porous structure, often enhanced with catalytic metals, to adsorb chlorine and improve water taste and safety. Durable, eco-friendly, and resistant to breakdown, they are ideal for long-term use in household water filters (such as under-sink systems and pitchers), commercial/industrial water treatment, and aquariums—where they protect aquatic life from harmful chlorine. Typically measuring 3–10 mm in diameter, these low-maintenance ceramic balls can last for months or even years with periodic backwashing.

Their versatility allows them to be used alongside other filtration media, such as KDF or activated carbon, for enhanced performance.

“CUZN Filter” lends its name from the discovery of KDF in the early 1980’s. KDF is a high-purity copper-zinc (CuZn) alloy that uses redox chemistry to adsorb contaminants from water.
