Although you will need 4-5 jumbo filtration housings to replace the Old CuZn WH-200B water tank, it allows you to customize each individual filter instead of the old solution that ONLY used 2 different filtration media (activated carbon and KDF).
This new modular solution can include multiple design configurations while still making it incredible easy to own and maintain.

Though this design has been around for decades, it makes owning and managing a water filtration system unnecessarily complicated. It is large, very heavy and it's incredibly difficulty to replace the old filtration media.
The original CuZn WH-200B Whole House Water Filtration System used an Automated Backwashing Head Value due to the natural water softening tendency of KDF media. However, to be able to take advantage of this you had to incorporate an additional drainage water pipe and brine solution tank. We will not be duplicating the inefficiencies of a water softening system that uses problematic valve heads since there is a far superior solution to prevent mineral scaling and hard water concerns – VulcanDescaler.com
